This is a unique bride & groom! They have a sweet chemistry together, they're funny, lighthearted, and happy. They also have a unique story of how their wedding came together! Originally Laurie's dream of having her wedding at the Rhododendron garden in Portland was crushed when she discovered the venue was already booked! She was totally bummed, beyond words. She said she started to get really really sad about it. Months later after trying other places and not liking them as much as the garden, she checked back with the gardens. Ironically, there was a recent cancellation and her date was available. A rarity !!

Originally, we did not have her date available either. Due to a cancellation, the date re-opened at a time when no one was shopping for wedding photographers. It was a surprise that she called just a few days later. We booked her date over the phone, everything clicked. Honestly, I used to stress about these things, but through experience I realized everything has a way of working out for the better.
