Last night I covered a fancy & fun birthday party! Party is in understatement!!!
The theme: Peggy: E! True Hollywood Story. John invited 100 of Peggy's best friends to celebrate and put on the ritz at Redmond's The Big Picture!
Peggy's husband created a half hour E! birthday spoof about his lovely wife being in the headlines of Hollywood's tabloids and media attention!!! A total gut-buster their were tons of laughs and a few tears! Check out her birthday cake! Gold-sprayed Marzipan.
Peggy had a contagious laugh and amazing sense of pep! I wish her the BEST 40th birthday!
As the night came to a close, I trekked back to Herbie the Love Bug only to find his battery toasted. I left the high beams on for 4 hours! My first day driving the damn thing and already having issues. Herbie and I are off to a rough start, but I told him to keep the drama for his mama. With a pep talk and a jump from the nice security guard, we're on the road again.
