What a treat, window lighting throughout the residence, bonus!
She rocked the kasbah.
My signature 'hottie' bride snap. What a fox!
Interesting: Below you'll see a few shots from the 'first look!' Some couples are opposed to seeing each other before the wedding ceremony. That tradition stems from the days of pre-arranged marriages where families didn't allow the bride & groom to see each other before the wedding to prevent the possibility of fleeing the coup. Somehow that's woven into American tradition, people crave the "special" feeling of walking down the isle but it makes for a tough day of photos with the style we shoot.
I'm not much to sell or trick people into my way of thinking, but luckily a new tradition provides bride & grooms one more special moment on their wedding. We don't take the 'aisle' moment away, we give you one more!! Most of my clients are game for seeing each other pre-ceremony because it jives with our editorial style, SO we set up a 'first look.' Its a big plus for everyone: clients get more out the photographer AND the nerves are settled when B+G's see each other. Cocktail hour goes smoothly, everything is hunky-dory. The first look is my favorite part of the day! I love it. Love it love it love it!
I asked them to do something a little naughty....We had a zamboni of a great time (not sure what that menas) working with these two. They are the perfect match for each other~I wish we lived closer!
This bridal party was pretty easy on the eyes!
Such a beautiful residence in LA. Loved the afternoon lighting!
The happy couple...
Emily's florist ROCKED. As soon as I figure out the company, I'll post her contact info. Delightful, sweet, hard-working and very very talented.
