What a fun idea! I think rice is pretty much outlawed by now because of birds eating the stuff and it expands in their tummies and kills em. So now most people do bird seed, rose petals or bubbles. Not crazy about the sticky bubbles though, especially when it gets on my lens, or when I get a perfect photo of the couple post ceremony - except for a big ole bubble right in front of his or her nose.
I LOVE the idea of the canon, petals in a cone, just one little toss and they're all gone, love the idea of LOTS of petals!!! Gives the groomsmen something the manhandle... :-)
