During a brief work-break, in the span of about 2 hours, Ray and picked a dining room set, and 3 sofas to match our suave home decor! Our house is old, built in the 20's. Currently the rooms have birch-effect Ikea furniture mixed with iron & slate tiled tables. Blech! We moved and nothing, at all, matches.
The white sofa is headed to the new "Blanco Lounge" (where eveyrthing's blanco, news coming soon!) and the dark table is headed to our dining room. It comes with a bench! This table is SO BIG and SO heavy. The pictures do it no justice!! Benches remind me of the German restaurants & garden cafes we spent countless hours chatting around. Flashback to Oktoberfest! You spend HOURS on benches until your buns go numb. Its all about conversation & sipping a good beer. We agreed that our dining room had to feel like a cafe. Can you tell I'm jazzed about the bench? Here are the "online shopping" pictures, they don't tell much of a story, sadly. I'm hunting for images of the 3rd sofa online, but can't find it. Its the perfect dark brown shiny leather sofa. Never in a million years did we expect to buy leather. I was a microfiber convert until today. At any rate, they're all scheduled for delivery at the end of next week and I'll be sure to post a full reportage on the NEW look! Very exciting!
